opt in post!



this is honestly my fault for playing a broken wizard.

So, Merlin comes with a few powers that do require say-so to have happen on other people. To make this work in a fair and fun way, I've got this handy permissions post to fill out, should you want to go interacting with these! I'll be working on an opt-in format - only if you give me your say-so will this come up, and I will be available for contact via message or PM when it does, contacting you in every case. In general, I plan on asking permission on using magic on characters in general, but these abilities reach somewhat beyond the usual scope of magicianship.

Abilities to be considered!

Illusions: Magic that interferes with the psyche, beguiles thinking creatures, and can project illusions into reality. This covers all five senses, and is strong enough to make multiple people think they're somewhere that they're not, or to conceal something from everyone else.

Dreams: He can observe and enter the dreams of intelligent creatures, to influence, create, and affect them. In the dreams of deep slumber, he is completely safe - however, in REM sleep, the host's consciousness is alert enough to reject and fight against him. Essentially, your dreamwalking/dreamweaving if he feels like it.
